Alisha Meschkow, PhD ‘21

College of Human Ecology

Alisha is a PhD student in Human Development. She conducts research to address questions at the intersection of law, emotion, and decision-making. After attending training for IDP with undergraduate facilitators, she fell in love with the project’s dedication to promoting empathic understanding and the enthusiasm the organizers bring to each dialogue. Alisha hopes to use her deep roots in both social justice and empirical research to amplify marginalized voices and reform the U.S. justice system.
